Jamie Oliver,
6 Catherine Street

The Brief

Jamie Oliver Restaurants sought to understand and reduce the carbon impact of its estate, starting with 6 Catherine Street. The brief included developing a framework to support long-term decarbonisation across future projects.

The Solution

Love Design Studio carried out a Whole Life Cycle Carbon Assessment, analysing the building’s impact through all stages of construction and use. This approach identified carbon hotspots, highlighted opportunities for efficiency, and established a replicable framework for future projects.

The Result

Catherine Street became the first building to reopen under this new approach, serving as both a functional restaurant and a model for sustainable development for Jamie Oliver Restaurants. The assessment now informs decisions across the wider estate, guiding progress towards long-term carbon reduction and responsible asset management.
