Love Design Studio, Talk Series

The UK has committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, and London aims to be a net-zero carbon city by 2030. Yet we face a rapidly changing climate, and our air quality remains shrouded in mystery.

The built environment must respond, not with half measures, but with ambition and urgency. Love Design Studio is in a unique position to tackle these challenges head-on, questioning the status quo and driving bold conversations.

Introducing our new series of online talks

Over four sessions we will explore some of the most pressing climate issues facing the built environment, from the invisible quality of the air we breathe and the lifecycle of materials, to the growing need to adapt our buildings to rising heat.

We will lead thought-provoking conversations on how far we have come in delivering change, and the barriers holding us back from real progress.

Each month, we will be joined by designers, makers, thinkers, researchers, and clients to ask practical, bold questions, uncovering both the challenges and the opportunities that will shape our future.

Throughout the series, we will gather insights, ideas, and practical advice to shape our Manifesto for Change: a collaborative piece of research, a provocation to the industry, and a roadmap for collective action.
