Andy Love appointed to the Hackney Design Review Panel

Andy Love, Managing Director, has been appointed to the Hackney Design Review Panel. Drawing on over 15 years’ experience in environmental services for the planning and built environment sector, Andy will bring a strong focus on embedding climate resilience into design. He will join leading experts from across the built environment to advise Hackney Council, helping to raise the quality, sustainability, and long-term resilience of developments across the borough.

'Hackney has always drawn me in, its vibrancy, culture, and strong sense of community make it unlike anywhere else. I am now fortunate to live and work here, adopting Hackney as my home and becoming part of its community. Through my work at Love Design Studio and Shade the UK, I’ve witnessed how thoughtful design can create healthier, more resilient places, whether by improving air quality, rethinking material use, or adapting the built environment to a changing climate. Joining the Design Review Panel is an opportunity to give something back, working with the Council and fellow panel members to ensure Hackney continues to grow in a way that builds resilience for the future.'
